German authorities Breeding Houses, offices in’cum-ex’ tax probe

German prosecutors have hunted homes and over a dozen offices throughout the country as part of their investigation into a massive tax fraud.

The scheme involved trades where participants would lend every other stocks so that they could collect compensation for taxes that they had not paid.

Frankfurt prosecutors said Thursday Tuesday, that about 170 officers raided 19 premises in four countries.

In total, 10 investigations are being conducted by German governments .

A court in Switzerland is supposed to issue a verdict Thursday from three Germans accused of”economic espionage” for blowing the lid on the taxation scheme by publishing records revealing a Swiss bank’s participation.
